What is TheDareClub?

Our mission is to inspire, motivate and stimulate the innovative spirit within all teens. TheDareClub.com will specialize in providing a social networking website that uniquely (challenges) "dares" its' members to perform specific tasks, and rewards those members that complete dares, and upload the video (proof) of those dares to the website.

TheDareClub.com represents our brilliant young hearts and intends to help influence the growth of the human soul in a positive way.

For The Teens: Would you rather work at a restaurant bussing tables or get the sick stuff you want just by doing some good deeds, and some fun activities by daring each other to be creative, and all you got to do is video it. "Let your courage pay you."

The site says "I can't register with my email address." what does this mean?

This usually means that an account has already been registered with that specific email address. If you think this is a mistake, send us an email.

What if I forget my password?

Click on the "Forgot your password?" link on the TheDareClub login page to get to the "Forgot Password" page. Enter your account email address, click "Request Password," and you will be sent an email containing a link. The link will take you to a page where you can create a new password for your account and get back into TheDareClub.

I tried that and I never received an email?

Sometimes email programs block email from addresses they don't recognize. Make sure you can receive emails from thedareclub.com. Also, some email programs may incorrectly move the password email into the spam folder - you might want to check in there as well.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, login and click on the "Account" link on the top right hand side of the TheDareClub homepage. Select "Change Password" and follow the instructions. As with all passwords, it's best to use something that is easy for you to remember, but difficult for others to figure out.

How do I change my email address?

To edit your email address, login and click on the "Account" link on the top right hand side of the TheDareClub homepage. Select "Update Email Address" and follow the instructions. Once you change your email address, this will now be your new login as well.

How do I change my information?

To update your nickname or information, login and click on the "Account" link on the top right hand side of the TheDareClub homepage. Select "Edit My Information", once you have updated your information click "Save."

Is there a minimum age to register for TheDareClub?

You must be 13 years of age or older to register for TheDareClub. Some contests may have specific age minimums, be sure to check each contests Official Rules before you enter.

How does TheDareClub make money?

We make money from ads placed throughout the site, and from "dare" sponsors. We do not sell information about individual members to anyone. If you are interested in advertising with TheDareClub please contact us.

Can I suggest a dare?

Of course. If you are already a member just log in and click the "make a dare" page and follow the steps. If you are not a member, sign up for free, and then do the same. You can also earn credits for "making a dare". You'll need to log in and then click the "make a dare" page and suggest your dare. If you are not interested in becoming a member and would just like to see our membership accomplish specific dares, or if you would like to sponsor a dare please contact us.

Remember: We screen all our dare suggestions so please save us some time and keep them challenging, exciting, and fun, and with nothing inappropriate. If you don't know what that means then just leave the site, or check out our "terms & conditions video".

How do I earn Dare Credits?

You earn credits by completing the dares on video and uploading them to thedareclub.com website. You can also earn credits for "making a dare". You'll need to log in and then click the "Make a Dare" page and suggest your dare. Each Dare reviewed and authorized by the website will then be assigned a "credit value" worth between 50 and 1000 points. Members will receive 10 to 100 credits for suggesting a dare "Make a Dare". When you attempt a Dare "Take a Dare", the maximum credits you can earn are equal to the "credits value" for that Dare. If your dare attempt is submitted, and reviewed, and considered completed you will get the maximum credits. If your video is considered just "attempted" you will get partial credits. So, attempting more difficult dares will give you a better chance at earning more credits. However, these dares tend to be more difficult. Your total dare credits are the sum of all the credits you've earned from all the Dares you've attempted and/or accomplished. You'll see total credits for yourself and your friends on the profile pages posted on your "dareclub credit card".

What can I use my credits for?

This feature will come in our next phase. We want to make being part of this club as rewarding as possible, so we are negotiating with many companies... (clothing companies, music stores, bands, singers, technology companies, and any other kind of sick stuff you want), so that you can redeem your credits for that stuff. If you are looking for something special please let us know what you want and we'll see what we can do. Contact us with your request and be sure to write "This Would Be Nice" as your Subject line, followed by your request.

Keep in mind: The more credits you get now, the more stuff you can get when it's available.

How do I become a DareClub VIP?

This feature will come in our next phase, however, shoot videos about all the amazing challenges you're attempting in life! You get more points by attempting more dares that are deemed more difficult. We'll have several Dares to choose from to arrive at the VIP level. (Hint) Pick the harder/fun ones. We'll add up all the credits from all your attempted video dares and once you've arrived at 10K points, you're a VIP!

How do I Dare friends?

This feature will come in our next phase, however, this life is a lot more fun when people you know start doing things you never knew they could. To dare a friend, just find or create a dare you think they'd enjoy, and then click "dare your friends". We'll send them a one time email with your challenge inviting them to play. You can do this with as many friends as you like.

Can I delete/cancel my account?

No problem. But why are you going? We don't want to see you go, but help us to understand. Just contact us including the same email address you used to create your account, and request that we cancel your membership. If you could just let us know why.
